On amendments to the Rules for the Provision of Services related to Assignment and Verification of the Legal Entity Identifier by National Settlement Depository

Please be advised that on 24 June 2024 the amended and restated Rules for the Provision of Services related to Assignment and Verification of the Legal Entity Identifier by National Settlement Depository (the “Rules”) will take effect.

The amended and restated Rules:*

• clarify the term “Client”;
• exclude the document transmission via the LUCH software;
• add the term “LEI Acceptance for Storage”;
• permit transmission of the Application for Verification of LEI and Information about parent companies via the User Account (LKU);
• define the procedure for LEI servicing in case of LEI Acceptance for Storage at the initiative of GLEIF in accordance with the Master Agreement;
• authorise NSD to change LEI statuses in accordance with the requirements of the RRGR;
• clarify the procedure for the repeated request and processing of the documents previously provided by the Client if the Client pays for the Services within a period longer than 10 (ten) business days from the date of the invoice;
• introduce technical and editorial corrections throughout the text of the Rules.
